MIMOS TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION
In July 2001, Jaring has been awarded the grid computing technology licence from MIMOS with the aim of providing an infrastructure for the nation that will increase Malaysia’s competitiveness in technology advancement regionally and globally. JARING is ready to commercialise grid computing technology through its new hub, positioning Malaysia on a higher platform on the world map, notably in the information and communication technology areas. As the pioneer in the Internet services in the country, JARING is equipped with the technical resources and know how towards contributing and realising the nation’s grid OUR VISION. With the launch, JARING has been entrusted to invest in the technology and to get potential businesses from the industry particularly among the animation companies.
